Who doesn’t love a s’more? The gooey deliciousness is hard to top on a summer night. However, according to MyFitnessPal, the average s’more is over 268 calories!
Since August 10th is National S’mores Day, we’ve tracked down a “skinny s’more” that will help to satisfy the craving without all the calories.
Here’s what you’ll need for a single serving:
– 1 Low Fat Honey Graham Cracker or 100% Whole Wheat Graham Cracker
– (3-4) Mini Marshmallows
– (3-4) Dark Chocolate Chips
Roasting the tiny marshmallows over the fire can be tricky, so we suggest doing these in the oven. Pop the cracker in for a couple minutes, add the marshmallow and chocolate and return to the oven until melted.
This version will cost you about 60 calories. Be sure to check your labels to calculate your exact numbers!
